Build and understand one automation together
Coached hands-on practice: build one synthetic automation, test it and explain how it works.
Tell EAC what you need. We’ll confirm scope, price, payment terms and timing directly. Workshops require an agreed live slot and capability preflight.
Start with the work you need to move forward.
Build a small practice automation with Sam, then change a rule and rerun it yourself. Use a verified Zapier or n8n workspace and synthetic examples to learn field mapping, branching, testing and maintenance.
A participant with a functioning supported workspace and one suitable practice task.
- 01The participant builds one small automation, tests it and explains how to maintain it.
Deliverables you can inspect and use.
- 01Practice workflow/template or export where supported
- 02Six-case test sheet
- 03Short runbook
- 04Learner-led modification and rerun
The scope
- One synthetic workflow, manual trigger, up to five core steps and one conditional branch
- Zapier or n8n selected for the task, with verified access and a successful platform-specific rehearsal before confirmation
- Learner performs key steps and one rule modification
- One two-hour coached session with up to two participants
What we need to begin
- Functioning workspace, create/manual-run permissions and usage headroom
- Chosen task and synthetic examples
- Existing authorized credentials only; no new OAuth/API setup
- Platform-specific rehearsal and verified usage funding where AI calls are involved
Follow one input through a reviewable workflow.
Try three synthetic inputs. This local example uses fixed rules to illustrate validation, boundaries and human review.

Illustrative demo • Synthetic data • No AI call, saved inquiry or live integration. Project behavior is tested against an agreed scope.
Agree on the checks before the work begins.
- 01Six agreed cases route as expected
- 02Participant explains trigger, mappings, branch and failure behavior
- 03Participant changes one rule and reruns without facilitator control
- 04Practice evidence is not represented as production reliability
Outside this engagement
- Production email/CRM writes, purchases or public webhooks
- Unattended runs, custom nodes or server installation
- Full SaaS development or ongoing troubleshooting

Assess the fit
Preflight the platform and select a practice task
Confirm the work
Map fields and build from a prepared scaffold
Build, check and hand off
Run six cases and inspect failure behavior
Review the result
Make a learner-led change and take away the runbook
Confirm the terms together.
EAC confirms availability, timing and required inputs in writing before work begins.
One worksheet/runbook correction and up to 30 minutes of asynchronous questions within seven days. Ongoing troubleshooting is excluded.
Client-owned accounts, hosting, subscriptions and software usage are separately funded. Workshop recording is off unless every attendee agrees to destination, access and retention.
